The following rates are valid for services performed at Tree’s place. For off-site massage information, scroll to the bottom of this page.
Payment is due at or before the time of service and can be handled with cash or with a check made out to Teresa Obin. If you would prefer to use a credit card, you have the one option of paying her via Paypal. Tree can work that out with you.
Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage:
The majority of clients end up benefitting most from a combination of these two styles of massage. Deep pressure where needed, usually the upper back, lower back, and shoulders; more moderate pressure elsewhere. Tree will work with you to gauge the proper amount of pressure and the best techniques to achieve optimum results. 30 minute massages are usually limited to the back, neck, and shoulders unless there is another specific need. 60 and 90 minute massages are usually full body massages.

Hot Stone Massage
In this luxurious massage, smooth hot stones are placed on various parts of your body, under various parts of your body, in your hands, and even between your toes. Tree massages you using palm-sized smooth hot stones and the feeling is as though moist heat is following the massage around your body. It’s extremely relaxing and de-stressing. It’s much more general than a “regular” massage, but where more specific work is needed Tree can put the stones down and dig into your tight muscles with her hands. Tree would need to know ahead of time that you plan to choose the hot stone massage so that she can make sure the stones are heated thoroughly.

Chair Massage
A chair massage is a bit different from the other kinds of massage. You are seated in a specially designed massage chair, you remain fully clothed, and Tree stands behind you in order to massage your back, neck, shoulders, arms, head, and hands. Generally considered more invigorating than sleep-inducing, and usually only done for 15 or 20 minutes. Although Tree can do a chair massage for you at her house, this type of massage would more likely be done at your place of business as part of a Wellness Day, at a corporate event, or at your home during a party or gathering. You can hire Tree for a flat rate per hour or pay her per massage. She can work out the details with you and help you put together a memorable event.

Off-Site Massage Information and Ideas (Table AND/OR Chair):
You can be the hero among your colleagues at work or your friends/family at home by hiring Tree to come to you! For example, she can come to your place of business in order to do 15 or 20 minute chair massages on your co-workers. Over the course of 3 to 5 hours, she can massage 10-15 people. There are some businesses that offer their employees such an option monthly!
Another example would be to hire Tree for a corporate or charity event, either outside or inside.
Yet another fun option is to have Tree come to your house with either her chair or her table. Perhaps you want to have a 'spa day' for the bride-to-be and her friends, a 'girls' night in' for your pals, or any number of reasons.
Tree can work with you on a case-by-case basis to come up with a plan and a price for any off-site massage scenario. It costs an additional $20 total if she travels to you for just one massage. However, if there are 2 of you, she only charges an additional $10 total. And if there are 3 or more of you, she doesn't charge a travel fee at all. Generally, Tree stays in a 30-minute radius of her Braintree studio, but she is willing to make exceptions!
